It is impossible to evaluate without comparison.Ivano-Frankivsk region is a magnificent land of myths and legends, lulled by singing of mountain rivers and whispering of fir-trees – a real treasury of ancient customs, traditions, ceremonies, centuries-old cultural gains of gutsuly, boiky, opillyany, pokutyany (national ethnographic minorities).

Precarpathia (Precarpathian region) is the land, that occupies a small area (13,9 thousand of square kilometres), where 3,5 thousand of architectural, historical, cultural, religious monuments and the whole world of nature are concentrated. Monasteries, wooden churches, museums, rocky complexes, waterfalls in force combined with wonderful mountain landscapes and originality of residents will make your rest unforgettable and unique.

"Ivano-Frankivsk – an Echo of the Centuries" – This excursion will give you an opportunity to get acquainted with the life of Stanislav (the former name of Ivano-Frankivsk) for the three centuries. You will also see Palace complex of the Pototskys – founders of Stanislav; Market square with Ratusha (the name of the townhall) – the patern of the Medieval town building; Sheptytsky square with Roman Catholic church, cathedral and ancient gymnasia – spiritual background of the ancient town of the baroque style; you will touch Stanislav’s Fotress wall, that was a masterpiece of fortification of the Medieval Europe; you will hear the story about Ivan Franko’s life (famous Ukrainian writer) – his second love to “proud princess”

"Manyavsky Skyt" – Manyavsky skyt: the Exaltation of the Cross cloister is an architectural monument of the XVII-th century situated in Manyava village. Formerly, skyt had 200 monks and dozens of subordinate cloisters in Galychyna, Bukovyna and Moldavia. Constructions of temples, cells, utility rooms made of stone are classical architectural patterns of the XVIIth–XVIIIth . On the earea, where skyt now stands the following things are preserved: Cloister Treasury Tower, Saint Boris and Glib Church, Archangel Myhail Underground Church. There in the Exaltetion of the Christ Cathedral is a miracle-working icon of The God’s Mother, painted in the XVIIIth century on the Afon mountain

"Yaremche – a Visit Card of the Carpathians" – near Dovbush stone you will listen to the stories about the Carpathian Robin Hood – Olexa Dovbush; then you will admire the wonder of nature – Yaremchansky waterfall on the Prut rive, touch the pages of the town’s history. Attending gutsuls souvenir market you will be able to buy products of the Carpathian skilled craftsmen.

"The Museum of Pysanka (painted Easter eggs) (Kolomya)" – is the only one museum of egg (pysanky) painting in the world. Its traditions have been preserved since the pre-Christian times. Egg painting (pysanky) is done according to the norms of strict ritual, and their charming power is strengthened by consecrating them together with Easter cake during Easter. The museum itself has the form of egg 14 meters high. The history of pysanka’s origin, technique of painting, instruments, compositions of ornamental patterns are reflected here

"Verhovyna-Kryvorivnya" – visiting the Museum of Musical Instruments and Hutsuls’ Way of Life, where putting on hutsuls’ national clothes, you’ll have an opportunity to play the distinctive musical instruments. There in Ivan Franko Museum you will get to know the reason why all famous Ukrainian writers and public figures of the end of the XIX-XXth century liked to come here and have rest. Having seen hata-grazhda (living houses in the forest and mountain areas with a high wooden fence that surved as a defense from animals, etc.), you’ll understand why it is called Hutsul’s fortress. During the excursion you can feel that “the shades of the forgotten ancestors” are walking nearby, because Sergiy Paradzhanov’s famous film “The Shades of the Forgotten Ancestors” was shot exactly at this place, and it is included to Guinness World Records as it has got the largest number of awards

"Yaremche – Vorochta" – a combined excursion, i.e. the mentioned above excursion “Yaremche – a Visit Card of the Carpathians” completed by excursion along Vorochta – sport’s capital of the Precarpathian region – that offers you to look over the ski-jump complexes, to go up with the longest in the Carpathians lift (2000 metres+2000 meters): wonderful views of the highest Carpathians mountains that are over 2000 meters high (Hoverla, Homyak, Petrosa, Pip Ivan). You can ride a horseback and make photos putting on hutsul’s clothes, if you like.

"Mysteries of Ancient Galychyna" – the history of the annalistic Galych which is 1100 years old. Stories about the characters of “A Word about Igor’s Regiment”: Galytsky prince Yaroslav Osmomysl, whose wife was Yuriy Dovgoruky’s daughter – the founder of Moscow, about his daughter Yaroslavna – Prince Igor’s wife, will take place. Exactly here the king Danulo Galytsky, the founder of Lviv, administered Galytsko-Volynsky state. During the excursion, you will also visit modern Galych, admire the beauty of the Dnister river and the remains of the Starostynsky castle

"Rogatyn – Roksolana’s cradle" – during this excursion you will visit motherland of Nastya Lisovska, who was known as Turkish sultan’s Suleiman the II (Suleiman the Sumptuous) wife 500 years ago in Europe. You will be also convinced that the beauty and wisdom of Ukrainian women played an important role in the life of the Europe of those times. You will also have an opportunity to visit the historical monument of the XIVth century – The Holy Spirit Wooden Church.

"Beads of the Precarpathia" – a universal excursion, that will give you a chance to visit the most famous places of our region: the Museum of Pysanka in Kolomyya, Ivan-Franko museum and Hata-grazhda in Kruvorivnay village, to go up with the longest lift in Vorochta, to see the waterfall and buy the Carpathian souvenirs in Hutsul’s market in Yaremche.
